Esperanza Pallana Bio
As a professional in Nonprofit Administration, Esperanza brings a diverse combination of analytical and creative thinking to research and program development. Her professional focus is in sustainable urban food systems, specifically school food and food access to low income communities. Her objective is to strengthen communities through the preservation of food heritage and supporting local agriculture and regional food economies.
For Esperanza home is where she creatively tinkers to develop a sustainable living experiment. This blog is a chronicle of her practical experiences. She resides in her unusual household with her curious and forgiving husband, her eccentric actor father-in-law, and her two very special cats. Its fun…most of the time.
