A Valley Excavation Crew Based in Bozeman

Pluckandfeather is a land excavation and grading outfit working across Bozeman, Montana and the Gallatin County communities that surround it. We run hydraulic excavators, crawler dozers, skid steers, and dump trucks for site preparation, land clearing, foundation digs, utility trenching, drainage work, and driveway base prep. Whether the job is a single water line or a full building pad, we bring the machine and the operator to match the ground.

We are based near Baxter Lane on the north side of Bozeman, and from there it is a short haul to almost any parcel in the valley. That location matters, because the ground changes as you move across the region. The glacial outwash under much of the valley floor hides river cobble and boulders, frost drives deep through the winter, and a wet spring raises the water table fast. We plan for those conditions instead of stumbling into them mid-job.
